Position Overview

This role will take on a multitude of projects to support business needs by providing leadership and coordination for cross-functional switchgear / power distribution projects, ensuring alignment between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and customer teams. The Project Manager drives project execution, manages risks and financial performance, facilitates stakeholder communication, and helps deliver high-quality solutions that support customer satisfaction and business objectives.

Team & Work Environment

This role serves as a key hub of the project team, bringing together diverse functions to successfully deliver switchgear projects while maintaining strong customer and stakeholder relationships. The team consists of multiple Project Managers who independently manage customer projects and report to a Project Management Manager, who provides leadership, resource prioritization, strategic direction, and support across the project portfolio. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Coordination (25%) - Develop project schedules, define milestones, allocate resources, and coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams
  • Project Execution & Monitoring (30%) - Track project progress, manage deliverables, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
  • Customer & Stakeholder Management (20%) - Serve as the primary customer contact, provide status updates, facilitate meetings, and align expectations between customers and internal teams
  • Financial & Commercial Management (15%) - Monitor project costs, profitability, invoicing milestones, change orders, and contract compliance
  • Risk, Quality & Continuous Improvement (10%) - Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, manage project risks, support testing and delivery activities, and drive process improvements

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of relevant experience OR
