Position Overview
Generalist extension of the Project Manager, absorbing responsibilities when bandwidth is exceeded. Specific duties vary and include, but are not limited to, sub relationships, budget subsets, deliverable tracking, or client coordination. Also, a development position being mentored into a future Project Manager. Works alongside the Project Engineer as peers.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all project documentation across the project.
Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing work.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and support micro scheduling.
Coordinate all phases of construction across management and field operations.
Coordinate and manage material expediting logs and deliveries.
Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawings, and potential changes.
Ensure documents are accurate, up to date, and properly distributed to Project Team.
Maintain organized project files.
Assist with budget management.
Monitor progress and flag potential delays to the Project Manager.
Participate in meetings and prepare minutes and reports.
Assist with inspections and quality assurance.
Assist with closeout processes including as-builts and warranties.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years construction experience, foundational budget/schedule/contract understanding, eager to learn, proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Suite.
