• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients during their initial sessions to identify their unique needs and establish counseling goals.
• Facilitate individual, couple, family, and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods and frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure client objectives are achieved.
• Provide continuous support to clients, addressing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and resource availability for clients.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation following organizational policies and relevant ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and conferences to remain informed about industry trends and best practices.

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will serve a diverse population that includes individuals facing various psychological challenges and life transitions. Your expertise will be essential in providing culturally competent care to clients from different backgrounds and age groups, including young adults, families, and elderly clients. Understanding these dynamics is critical for fostering trust and building therapeutic alliances.

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a closely related field is mandatory.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for creating a safe space for clients to share their experiences.
• Ability to work independently while also valuing collaboration with peers to enhance the overall care provided to clients.
• Experience working with diverse populations and demonstrating cultural competence in practice.

• Two or more years of clinical experience in a community health or outpatient setting.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with community resources available for client referral and support.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans collaboratively with clients.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
