Position Overview
Under the direction of the National Tennis Director and the Club Tennis Director, the Full-Time Tennis Professional will create and deliver dynamic, high-energy, engaging, and fun lessons for all ages and skill levels. This role is ideal for individuals who are not only passionate about tennis but also eager to inspire others, grow professionally, and succeed.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ambassador for Tennis: Be a passionate and inspirational advocate for tennis to all ages and levels.
- On-Court Presence: Maintain an average of 35 on-court hours per week, delivering high-energy, fun lessons.
- Program Mastery: Research and learn programming features and on-court tools to enhance lesson delivery.
- Lesson Delivery: Provide private and group lessons to players of all ages and levels.
- Financial Accountability: Manage the financial aspects of the programs and private lessons you conduct.
- Court Environment: Ensure a safe and clean playing environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Education: College degree strongly preferred.
- Experience: 1-5+ years of tennis teaching experience. OPT Students just graduating - opportunities are available.
- Certification: RSPA and/or PTR Certified, or a commitment to becoming certified.
- Playing Level: 4.0 or higher.
- Attributes: Ambitious, passionate about people, coachable, with a contagious positive attitude.
- Professionalism: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, high integrity, and dedication to providing personalized service.
