This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who also has a proven track record of consultative sales and earning commission.
Position Summary
As a Customer Success & Sales Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers while supporting branch operations and driving revenue growth. You'll assist customers throughout their experience, answer questions, resolve concerns, prepare estimates, and identify opportunities for additional services.
Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences while confidently recommending services that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, text, and other communication channels.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience with every interaction.
  • Resolve customer concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.
  • Research customer accounts and accurately document all interactions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate customer records within company systems.
Sales & Business Growth
  • Identify customer needs and recommend maintenance, repair, renovation, and other service solutions.
  • Prepare estimates and proposals for customers.
  • Follow up on outstanding estimates and sales opportunities.
  • Support branch growth by converting inquiries into recurring service customers.
  • Partner with branch leadership to increase customer retention and drive additional revenue opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed established sales and customer service goals.
Branch Operations
  • Collaborate closely with the Branch Manager and field technicians to coordinate customer needs.
  • Communicate scheduling updates and service issues.
  • Assist with administrative functions that support daily branch operations.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Required
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service and inside sales experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years earning commission through consultative sales or service sales.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, close sales, and exceed customer expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM or customer management software.
Preferred
  • Experience in home services, pool service, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, pest control, or another residential service industry.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
