Job Title: PHP Developer
Duration: Fulltime Permanent Employment
Location: Day 1 onsite, Austin, TX only
Client: Wipro

Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • 8+ years experience developing applications and features using PHP as primary backend technology, with hands-on experience on PHP 7.* and above
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining applications using custom and/or PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symphony
  • Proven experience working on large scale real-time web applications and systems
  • Display strong SQL skills using relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Proficient understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience designing scalable REST APIs and Reactive Microservices
  • Experience in caching systems and Graph QL required
  • Expert understanding of utilizing automated CI/CD pipelines and building systems supporting DevOps and IaaS
  • Experience in Supporting Production Operations, L1/L2 Triaging for Critical fixes
  • Have an excellent understanding of architectural principles involved in SaaS and multi-tenant Cloud platforms.
  • Have extraordinary analytical and quantitative Modeling skills with a focus on data-driven decision making
  • Strong experience with translating business needs and complex problems into systems requirements with system design architectures that are robust, flexible, and scalable, understanding of design patterns and their application is a plus

Preferred:
  • Proven skills in performance tuning, monitoring and measuring, and site reliability engineering
  • Frontend Experience with libraries such as ReactJS
  • Ability to operate in a multi-language environment with experience in one or more of the following languages along with PHP: Java, Rust, Python, JavaScript/Typescript
  • Ability to develop strong Unit Test cases using PHPUnit
