Pathway Mental Health & Wellness Center LLC is seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time capacity. This remote position involves working with young adults aged 18 to 30 as part of our specialized outpatient treatment program. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), your responsibilities will encompass:

• Facilitating group therapy sessions that encourage peer support, where clients can share personal experiences, fostering an environment of connection and healing.
• Delivering individualized therapy to clients, using empathetic listening skills to help them explore and understand their feelings while developing effective coping strategies.
• Collaborating with clients to create personalized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs and goals, ensuring these plans are actionable and time-sensitive.
• Monitoring client progress on a regular basis through assessments and feedback, making necessary adjustments to therapeutic approaches as required.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and consult on complex cases, ensuring comprehensive support for each client.

Your day-to-day work will focus on supporting young adults at our community health clinic in Houston, Texas. These individuals may be navigating significant life transitions, including educational, occupational, or personal challenges, which can impact their mental health. You will have the opportunity to instill hope and resilience in clients who seek to overcome anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.

Candidates for this position should possess:

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license to practice in the state of Texas.
• Commitment to ethical patient care and understanding of evidence-based practices.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred for candidates:

• Experience working with young adults in an outpatient mental health setting.
• Knowledge and experience with Integrated Behavioral Health models, particularly with PHP programming.
• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities and theories.

Pathway Mental Health & Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
