Reports To: Provost

Proposed Start Date: August 10, 2026

General Description: The College Staff Assistant assists all the administrative staff members of Saint Constantine College, an Orthodox Christian liberal arts college that is preparing for growth and accreditation. This position will assist the Provost, Registrar/Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Dean of Student Life, Admissions Office, and Librarian.

Primary Responsibilities:

Duties may include, but are not limited to

• Helping to organize and prepare for college events

• Drafting and editing emails and other print media,

• Making recruitment phone calls,

• Monitoring teams for urgent scheduling updates

• Drafting, editing, and posting flyers

• Sending reminders to faculty and students for upcoming events

• Scheduling meetings for college staff

• Serving as receptionist for the college administrative offices

• Taking notes at meetings

• Generally assisting with anything needed by the administrators.

Qualifications:

• Commitment to Saint Constanine College’s mission, values, and Orthodox Christian identity.

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Demonstrated ability in oral and written communication

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and with initiative

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred

• Some flexibility in schedule, including occasional evenings and weekend.

• Flexibility in learning new skills as needed and the college grows

Performance Expectations:

The College Staff Assistant is expected to serve the college administration promptly with accuracy, creativity and professionalism. Performance is assessed through annual review, evaluating the care and timeliness of completed projects, the satisfaction of the administrators served, and the contribution to the College’s overall mission.
