Summary

As a Quality Inspector for PaperTech, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality at every stage of the production process. You will be responsible for conducting routine quality checks, documenting findings, and coordinating the handling of non-conforming products. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards will help ensure the quality of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP) products, assembly components, and finished goods.

Shift Details:

3rd Shift: (Monday-Friday 12:00 am - 8:00 am)


About the Role:

  • Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP) products, assembly products, and finished goods across all departments.
  • Write reports on testing findings.
  • Record data into check sheets and software.
  • Coordinate the placement of non-conforming products into the QC hold area.
  • Coordinate and assist in sorting inspections/repacking items from the QC hold area.
  • Maintain order/cleanliness of the QC hold area.
  • Responsible for the assurance of all product quality (raw materials, WIP product, assembly product, and all finished goods).
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of corrugation, bags, labels, and pallets are acceptable quality.
  • Communicate with the other team members and management about quality issues.
  • During peak periods, team members may be required to work extended hours as business needs dictate.
  • Follow all food and personal safety rules and regulations in respect to GMP’s, OSHA, HACCP, the Global Food Safety Initiative, the site SQF program as stated in the FS&Q Policy, HSE, and sanitation guidelines as set forth by the company.
