Job Description
As a Security Officer - Full Time in Oshkosh, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor or contractor badges, maintaining visitor logs, and following established entry and exit procedures.
  • Operate access control systems, monitor security-related alarms and cameras as assigned, and promptly report irregularities, equipment issues, or unauthorized access attempts.
  • Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
