Job description

Overview

JOB SUMMARY

The role encompasses assisting with the patient care in the surgical setting through the provision of technical assistance to the surgical team members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or GED required. In lieu of High school diploma or GED, completion of approved Surgical Technology course will be accepted.

 

Experience:  Minimum 6 month's experience in the surgical scrub role setting or completion of a course for Surgical Techology.

 

Knowledge and Skills:   Aseptic technique in the surgical setting.  Able to work in the fast paced environment and manage/prioritize/complete work assignments and other duties as assigned.

 

License/Certifications:   A current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card is required. 

 

Equipment:   None.

 

Physical Requirements:   Must be able to perform the essential physical job requirements.

PAY RANGE

$25.83 - $38.75

The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change.  Salary offers are determined by candidate's relevant experience and skills.  For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate's individual experience.
