Job description

The Autonomous Vehicles Platform team is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer to help bring NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle platform to the market! This role involves developing and productizing innovative solutions that will transform transportation and the field of self-driving cars. You will collaborate with talented and dedicated multi-functional engineering teams across various vehicle sub-systems to integrate their work into our autonomous driving DRIVE SW platform, ensuring compliance with all relevant NVIDIA and automotive standards and guidelines. The work is exciting, impactful, and enjoyable, with deadlines, customers, and competition to navigate.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the development of platform test infrastructure and workflows that define how we validate autonomous platform systems at scale.

  • Drive technical alignment with cross functional teams to integrate test infrastructure with CI/CD workflows.

  • Enhance integration efficiency to facilitate development on Tegra-based Autonomous Vehicle platforms.

What we need to see:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of systems software development experience.

  • Proficiency in C/C++/Python.

  • Strong debugging skills in complex, multi-processor embedded environments.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive alignment with multiple cross-functional teams.

  • Proven expertise in embedded systems and SW/HW cross-domain knowledge.

  • Ability and flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multinational, multi-time-zone corporate environment.

  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Hands on with using AI tools.

  • Experience with cloud services, Jenkins, and Docker in continuous integration and deployment systems.

  • Knowledge of general-purpose and automotive network systems (Ethernet, CAN, etc.)

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
