We CGI is seeking to hire an experienced Technical Writer and Business Process Consultant to spearhead documentation and process standardization initiatives across complex enterprise business functions.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in technical writing, business process analysis, or operational excellence, featuring exceptional written communication skills and hands on expertise with enterprise collaboration platforms like Confluence or SharePoint. This role will involve interviewing executives and technical SMEs to produce and maintain rigorous standard operating procedures (SOPs), detailed workflow diagrams, and centralized knowledge repositories that accurately reflect evolving enterprise application functionality.
This is a Full-Time, On-Site employment opportunity based in Raleigh, NC, Lafayette, LA, Hartford, CT, or St. Louis, MO in a Hybrid Model.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Lead documentation and process standardization initiatives across business functions by producing high-quality operational documentation and knowledge assets.
. Develop and maintain enterprise SOPs.
. Create business process documentation and workflow diagrams.
. Standardize documentation across multiple business organizations.
. Maintain knowledge repositories.
. Ensure documentation reflects current application functionality.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
At least 7+ years in technical writing, business process analysis, knowledge management, or operational excellence.
. Exceptional written communication and documentation skills.
. Experience creating SOPs, business process documentation, and knowledge articles.
. Experience interviewing executives, SMEs, and operational teams.
. Strong facilitation and process mapping skills.
. Experience with enterprise collaboration platforms such as Confluence or SharePoint.
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
