What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers)

Lead with Heart & Expertise:

  • Supervise day-to-day clinical operations for your unit, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, CNAs, and caregivers—leading by example with kindness and professionalism.

  • Coordinate care services, staffing assignments, and clinical processes to support resident needs.

Champion Clinical Excellence & Compliance:

  • Monitor resident conditions, care plans, and documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

  • Participate in care conferences, audits, and QA meetings to support continuous improvement.

  • Serve as a liaison with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure collaborative, holistic care.

Support a Positive Work Environment:

  • Foster a culture of respect, accountability, and teamwork.

  • Help with onboarding and training new nurses and support staff.

  • Promote open communication and a calm, solutions-oriented approach to challenges.


What You Bring to the Table (Besides Compassion & Leadership Skills)

Licensure & Credentials:

  • Active RN license in the state of employment required.

  • CPR certification required; additional leadership or specialty certifications are a plus.

Experience & Skills:

  • Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or long-term care environment required.

  • Strong knowledge of nursing best practices, regulations, and care planning.

  • Excellent leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand, lift, bend, and assist residents throughout your shift.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and respond quickly to emergencies.
