Responsibilities

  1. Prospecting new business and seeking out innovative solutions for key end-user/maintenance repair operations targets.
  2. Creating and executing a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds set sales goals.
  3. Optimizing call routes to maximize time in the field and overall efficiency.
  4. Meeting regularly with customers in sales territory to understand their needs.
  5. Educating customers on Crawford's value-added offerings.
  6. Identifying and pursuing new customer acquisition opportunities in assigned territory.
  7. Conducing cold calls to acquire new customers in assigned sales territory.
  8. Building long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with new customers.
  9. Championing Crawford's brand in the local community and assigned area.
  10. Being regularly available and responsive to customer's real-time needs.
  11. Identifying and executing local marketing activities to enhance presence and grow sales.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience.
  • Preferred candidate will have 5+ years of industry related experience.
  • Proven track record of consistent achievement of sales goals.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.
  • Passionate individual with a desire to succeed.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • This position is responsible for high-level selling, to include selling applications and solutions in the industrial and/or automation and control market.
  • There is an emphasis on key and target account development, along with providing consultative solutions for Industrial MRO and OEM markets. 
  • This individual must be able to build relationships across an entire organizational spectrum and understand the business needs and goals at each level.
