We are searching for an experienced Pet Groomer with an established clientele base to join the team.  If you are tired of working in a drama filled, uncomfortable and/or corporate environment, we are a family run, super established North Florida mom 'n pop that has been in business for over four decades.  We work hard but we have fun and our customer base is full of true animal lovers just like you.

Please attach a resume with you application, only experienced pet groomers (dog & cat) with a solid track record and established customer base need apply for this full time (or part time) position. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Brush and detangle or remove matted fur
  • Bathe dogs & cats and dry coat
  • Execute a variety of clipping techniques and style requests
  • Examine for parasites or other skin conditions
  • Trim nails 
  • Ensure the safety of dogs & cats at all times
  • Express Anal Glands
  • Adhere to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with pet owners
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a dog & cat grooming technician or similar role
  • Comfortable working with anxious animals
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift large dogs over 60 pounds
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and participate in continuing education
  • Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and dog & cat owners
  • Strong attention to detail
