Job description

Sequlite Genomics is a growing life sciences company developing an NGS platform to enable sequencing for everyone. This Bay Area subsidiary of Fapon Biotech is in the SF East Bay/Tri-Valley area. We are looking for several full-time molecular biology RA/Scientists to join the product development team. These positions will work with a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers to solve challenging chemistry, molecular biology, and engineering problems.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

       Work at the bench to develop and optimize nucleic acid assay conditions.

       Implement and test protocols.

       DNA sequencing using NGS platforms.

       Experimental data analysis.

Requirements:

       B.S./M.S./Ph.D. degree or equivalent experience in molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, bioengineering, or a closely related field.

       Solid wet-lab skills, and a firm understanding of molecular biology techniques, including PCR, qPCR, DNA extraction, purification, ligation, and sequencing.

       Highly motivated individual with great work ethics.

       Good communication skills and team player.

       Creative problem-solving skills.


Preferred:


      Someone who keeps current on new scientific knowledge and discoveries in order to identify opportunities in the biotechnology field

      Product development experience


A reasonable estimate of the salary range at the time of this posting is$64,480 - $144,900 (including RA, Sr. RA, Scientist I,II, Staff Scientist and Sr. Staff Scientist). Title and compensation will depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience. This range may be modified in the future.
