Job description

Job Description The CNC Machinist / Mold Maker is a full-time role responsible for operating and programming CNC machinery to produce precision molds and components used in medical device manufacturing. Collaborates with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes, maintain quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining and precision mold making.
  • Extensive experience manufacturing plastic injection molds.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and precision machining practices.
  • Experience machining hardened tool steels, stainless steel, aluminum, and copper alloys.


Required Machine Experience:

  • 3-Axis CNC Milling Machines
  • 4-Axis CNC Milling Machines
  • 5-Axis CNC Milling Machines
  • CNC Lathes
  • Wire EDM Machines
  • EDM Machines
  • Surface Grinders
  • Manual milling machines and engine lathes (preferred)


Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Fusion 360 for CAD/CAM programming and toolpath generation.
  • CNC programming and CAM experience.
  • Mold assembly, fitting, spotting, and troubleshooting.
