Mold Maker / Tooling Technician

Pay: $25 – $35/hr
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Manufacturing Environment

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mold Maker / Tooling Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and performance of injection molding tooling in a manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in keeping production running efficiently by ensuring molds are properly maintained, repaired, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of injection molds to support production operations
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and tooling teams to resolve mold and molding issues
  • Identify and implement solutions for complex mold problems within injection molding processes
  • Create and manage work orders for mold service and repairs while maintaining proper documentation
  • Verify molds are production-ready and communicate tooling conditions to engineering and production teams
  • Assist in coordinating tooling repairs and improvements
  • Train team members on equipment and processes within the tool repair department
  • Follow company policies including ISO standards, safety procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as needed
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in mold making, mold repair, or injection mold processes strongly preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and engineering-related software
Work Environment
This role is based in a clean manufacturing and warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levels and requires hands-on work with tooling and equipment.
