Apprentices typically rotate through different departments, gaining exposure to various aspects of mining such as equipment operation, safety protocols, and site management. You'll work closely with mentors who provide guidance, support, and regular feedback to help you develop the necessary technical and safety skills. This collaborative environment is designed to prepare you for progressively more advanced responsibilities as you move through the apprenticeship. Successful completion can open up opportunities for permanent roles or further specialization within the mining industry.
