What is a full time mine closure?

A Full Time Mine Closure job involves overseeing and managing the process of safely shutting down and rehabilitating mining sites once operations have ended. This role includes planning, implementing environmental remediation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and monitoring long-term site stability. Professionals in this field collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and government agencies to restore the land and mitigate any ongoing environmental impacts. The goal is to return the site to a safe, stable, and environmentally sustainable state for future use.
