This is an excellent career opportunity, with potential for progression, to work with management consulting and technical expert teams.

We envision this individual being based in either our Elko, Salt Lake City, Scottsdale, or Denver office although location is flexible. The work will involve supporting local, national and international clients with challenging business needs. This role will require periodic travel for internal meetings, project work and client engagements.

  • Structure and guide work processes to design, implement and improve programs, policies, standards, with support from ERM subject matter experts.
  • Provide support for federal and state permitting activities related to mining projects, including the preparation and coordination of required documentation and compliance materials.
  • Ensure project compliance with environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
  • Prepare proposals, including development of scopes and cost estimates, and participate in business development with existing clients.
  • Adhere to scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables and timely delivery of reports.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with clients and other ERM employees.
  • Distil and analyse complex data, trends, and concepts into clear and concise takeaways and executive summaries.
  • Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Other assigned duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Engineering program or equivalent.
  • Professional experience in the Mining industry.
  • 6+ years of professional experience relevant to the responsibilities described above.
  • Experience working in the mining/metals field, site experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience creating clear deliverables for audiences ranging from corporate executives to plant-level operators.
  • Strong MS Office computer skills, with an advanced understanding of PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting tight deadlines, and traveling to clients as needed.
  • Ability to maintain flexibility and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude, motivated to deliver outstanding client service, and grow our business.
Additional Preferred Skills
  • Experience with regulatory applications for mining and/or mine closure.
