The Role
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Development Representative is responsible for building sales pipeline by engaging both existing customers and known prospects within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem. This is a high-activity role focused on outbound outreach, account re-engagement, and identifying new opportunities within our existing database. You will partner closely with experienced sales leaders and Microsoft teams to turn those conversations into qualified opportunities.
What You'll Do
Outbound Prospecting & Pipeline Building
  • Reach existing and known Dynamics 365 customers by phone, email, and campaign, and re-engage dormant accounts.
  • Find companies on legacy or fragmented systems that are ready to modernize on Microsoft
  • Spot upgrade, expansion, and optimization openings across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform

Discovery & Needs Identification
  • Lead high-level conversations to understand customer needs and current Dynamics usage
  • Identify gaps, pain points, or missed opportunities within their existing infrastructure
  • Ask strong questions and gather enough context to qualify interest
  • Pass well-defined opportunities to senior sales and solution teams

Microsoft-Aligned Selling
  • Collaborate with Microsoft field sellers and internal teams on account targeting and outreach
  • Participate in co-sell efforts and align outreach with Microsoft initiatives

Opportunity Support
  • Convert outreach into sales-qualified meetings and opportunities
  • Ensure strong handoff and context sharing with account executives and solution teams

Marketing & Campaign Support
  • Support targeted outreach campaigns tied to events, webinars, and Microsoft programs
  • Follow up with engaged prospects and help move them into active conversations

What We're Looking For
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Required)
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales business development role
  • A self-starter who owns their own activity and pace
  • Curious about Microsoft solutions and genuinely eager to keep learning
  • An introductory grasp of AI and a real interest in how it's reshaping how businesses operate
  • Builds rapport fast and earns trust early
  • Detail-oriented in how you qualify, document, and hand things off
  • One to four years in sales, BD, or an SDR seat, ideally high-activity and outbound
  • Coachable, with an eye on growing into full-cycle sales
  • Comfortable in a CRM, ZoomInfo, Apollo or a similar tool is a plus
  • An energetic personality
