Our growing, locally owned bank is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to support our commercial lending team and strengthen our credit culture. This role plays a key part in protecting the bank's portfolio quality while supporting local businesses across the St. Louis region. Key Responsibilities Complete detailed financial statement and tax return analysis for commercial and industrial, commercial real estate, agricultural, and consumer credit requests. Prepare comprehensive written credit memos and risk rating recommendations. Support lenders in structuring loans in compliance with bank policy, FDIC guidelines, and Missouri banking regulations. Monitor the existing commercial loan portfolio, including annual reviews, covenant tracking, and early identification of credit deterioration. Assist in concentration analysis, stress testing, and other regulatory reporting needs. Participate in loan committee discussions and help maintain strong credit administration practices. Manage the credit departmentand act as a mentor and resource to junior analysts. Knowledge/Skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong work ethic and self-motivated Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 10+ years of commercial credit or lending experience. Strong financial analysis and cash flow modeling skills. Knowledge of FDIC regulations and community banking credit expectations. Proficiency with Word, Excel and underwriting software. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a small to midsize community bank. Knowledge of the St. Louis metro commercial market. Formal credit training program completion.
