Patient Care Assistant - Med Surg Units - FT, PT & PRN Opportunities, Bronson Methodist Hospital
Why This Role
If you enjoy helping others and want to make an impact every day, this is where healthcare begins.

Healthcare is built on teamwork, compassion, and human connection.
As a PCA, you'll play a hands-on role in caring for patients while working in a fast-paced hospital environment where learning happens every day. • Day-one medical, dental, vision, and prescription benefits
  • Paid time off, holidays, and short-term disability coverage
  • 403(b) retirement plan with employer match

  • Sign-on bonus available for eligible Full-Time and Part-Time Night Shift positions

What You'll Be Doing

  • Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information
  • Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Answer call lights and respond to patient needs
  • Assist with patient transport, ambulation, and repositioning
  • Prepare patients for procedures and testing
  • Communicate patient observations and concerns to the nursing team
  • Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized care environment
  • Support patient safety initiatives and unit operations

What to Expect
This is a physically active, hands-on role where you'll spend much of your day working directly with patients and collaborating with the healthcare team.
You'll experience the fast pace of hospital care while helping patients through some of their most vulnerable moments.
