Team Role
LIV Hospitality is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to support social media, content creation, and digital marketing efforts across multiple properties in the Black Hills.
This is a hands-on, on-site role offering real-world experience working across hotels, resorts, restaurants, and entertainment venues. You will work directly with the marketing team to gather content, execute social strategies, assist with light design, and support digital platforms-including social media, websites, and blogs.
This internship is designed to provide meaningful, resume-building experience with the opportunity for full-time employment based on performance.
Responsibilities
  • Gather on-site content across LIV Hospitality properties, including photos, video, promotions, and Guest experiences
  • Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling social media content across multiple property accounts
  • Help develop and maintain monthly social media and content calendars
  • Write captions, blogs, and website content aligned with brand voice
  • Edit photos and assist with light video/content creation for social media
  • Support graphic design needs using Canva (social posts, stories, and basic marketing materials)
  • Assist with website updates, blog uploads, and overall content organization
  • Participate in events, promotions, and property activations to capture real-time content
  • Research and propose new content ideas and strategies for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest
  • Review social media performance and assist with reporting, including insights on audience demographics, engagement trends, posting times, and top-performing content
  • Use performance data to help guide content decisions and improve future social strategies
  • Monitor social media trends, performance, and engagement to provide recommendations
  • Organize and maintain marketing assets (photos, videos, files) for team use
  • Support the marketing team with additional campaigns, projects, and day-to-day needs as assigned

Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field preferred
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms required, including Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok
  • Experience with Canva required; additional graphic design experience (Adobe Creative Suite or similar) is a plus
  • Experience with photo editing tools (Lightroom or similar) preferred
  • Interest in photography, videography, and visual storytelling
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to analyze social media performance and apply insights to improve content
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute ideas
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
