Job Title: FT Merchandiser
Reports To: District Sales Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Classification: Full Time
Job Summary: The Full Time Merchandiser is responsible for properly stocking and maintaining SCP products in backrooms, shelves, coolers, and displays in assigned accounts in conjunction with our sales team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for filling and properly facing all company brands and packages on cooler shelf and dry shelf and building displays.
  • Using proper rotation techniques, remove any out-of-code or damaged packages from shelves or displays.
  • Responsible to maintain back-room space and ensure accurate pricing of product.
  • Follow the stores procedures to dispose of all empty cardboard cases and paper wrap.
  • Re-pack product as necessary.
  • Ensure point of contact material is adequately supplied and placed on shelves and displays.
  • Establish and maintain a rapport with customers.
  • Assist with cooler resets and comply with instruction from Sales Representatives.
  • Responsible to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with District Sales Manager or Sales Representative regarding route adjustments, emergencies, extended hours or additional assignments.
  • Maintain a timely schedule and manager your own time to ensure priorities are met in an efficient manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to meet work-load requirements within deadlines.
  • Planning and organizing skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Availability to work a five-day schedule that includes early am starts and weekends.
  • Represents SCP's commitment to excellence through PARTNERS values.
  • Possesses a valid driver's license in the state of residence while maintaining a good driving record.

Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Walking, standing, bending, lifting, and twisting frequently.
