White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire a Lead Stockroom Clerk who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Lead Receiver/Stockroom Clerk you will:
• Coordinate and oversee daily operations of stockroom clerks and/or receiving staff, including scheduling and task assignments.
• Manage and monitor Inventory Stock Requests to ensure orders are filled, delivered, and documented within required timelines.
• Unload, break down, and check Medline and vendor deliveries; cross-check PO lines, identify mispicks, and process returns.
• Oversee warehouse organization, compliance with storage standards, labeling accuracy, and rotation of supplies.
• Support daily and monthly cycle counts, clean sweeps, and inventory audits to maintain system accuracy and expiration control.
• Provide backup coverage for stock clerks and receivers during staffing shortages.
• Maintain loading dock cleanliness, monitor delivery pickups, and coordinate with departments for timely receipt of goods.
• Order oxygen tanks, coordinate returns of empty tanks, and ensure oxygen storage rooms are clean and compliant.
• Assist in special projects, label creation, and setup of new products or storage locations.
• Deliver urgent or special-request supplies directly to units when needed.
• Provide customer service to internal departments and serve as liaison with vendors and buyers for supply issues.
Qualified candidates will possess:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree in supply chain, business, or healthcare preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in healthcare materials management or warehouse operations, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
Work Schedule:
• Employment Type: Full Time
• Hours per Week: 40hrs./week
• Typical Daily Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm
• Shift Type: Day Shift
• Weekend Requirements: Rotating weekends
• Holiday Requirements: Required Follow company holiday calendar
• Shift Differential Eligible: Yes
Pay Range:
$18.40 - $23.48
If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
