Mechanical Engineer
Location: Maumee, OH, Cincinnati, OH, Farmington Hills, MI.
Job Summary
Fishbeck has a full-time opening for a Mechanical Engineer in our Maumee, OH, Cincinnati OH, or Farmington Hills, MI office. This exciting and challenging opportunity offers involvement in a wide variety of projects across the industrial, municipal, healthcare, commercial, and higher education markets. The successful candidate will perform multiple aspects of mechanical engineering assignments, including HVAC and plumbing system design calculations and the development of construction drawings and specifications. This role also includes coordination with multidisciplinary teams, field investigations, and construction phase engineering support.
Desired Education
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Desired Job Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Architectural/Engineering (A/E) consulting business.
  • PE license or working toward licensure.
  • Proficiency with Revit mechanical software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently and collaboratively.

Minimum Physical Requirements
Will have normal office working conditions and be required to use a computer. Must be capable of traveling to and maneuvering around project sites to attend client and project meetings and to access sites for observation, investigation, and evaluation. Must be able to use various technical equipment for communication and documentation purposes. Visual acuity necessary to perform responsibilities. Occasionally exposed to light lifting, sitting, and walking.
