Apply today to join our team!Pay: We offer our Mechanical Technician a competitive wage of $22–$32 per hour, based on experience, with higher compensation considered for candidates with advanced experience, OEM certifications, or strong diagnostic and calibration expertise.Benefits:Company assistance with health insurance (after 3 months)Company-matched savings plan (after 3 months)Paid holidaysOngoing training and education opportunities4 paid personal days per year (shop operates on a 4-day work week)Fridays off every week1 week of paid vacation after one year of employmentSCHEDULE FOR OUR EXPERIENCED Mechanical Technician:This is a full-time position working Monday through Thursday from 6 AM to 5 PM, with Fridays off.Your Role As A Mechanical Technician:In this position, you'll diagnose and repair various vehicle systems, perform scans, interpret trouble codes, and calibrate ADAS per manufacturer guidelines. Daily tasks will include test-driving vehicles, troubleshooting electrical and drivability issues, and repairing or replacing components like cooling systems and safety sensors. Clear communication of findings with estimators and team members will be essential to maintain workflow and repair quality standards.In order to do this, you'll need the following:Valid driver's license with a good driving recordAutomotive repair experienceMechanical aptitude and willingness to learn advanced technology systemsInterest in ADAS systems, calibrations, and modern vehicle electronicsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to squat, kneel, bend, and lift 70+ lbsWillingness to complete ongoing training and certification programsExperience with diagnostics or scan tools is a plus!OUR COMPANYOur company began in 1973 as W & W Body Shop, founded by two car enthusiast brothers.
