  • Provide individualized and group counseling, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to facilitate healing and personal growth.
  • Deliver timely crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and conducting crisis assessments when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with industry standards, utilizing the Maxient platform to track referrals and update treatment plans.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by creating and facilitating training sessions and outreach programs for clients, educators, and staff regarding mental health awareness and coping strategies.
  • Offer consultation support to faculty and staff, equipping them with practical strategies for assisting students struggling with psychological challenges.
  • Design and lead initiatives aimed at promoting mental wellbeing, such as workshops and community events, to foster a culture of health and support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals within our student population, including adolescents and young adults, who may be navigating the complexities of academic stress, life transitions, or mental health challenges. This role emphasizes creating a safe space for clients to express their concerns, receive validation, and work toward solutions, all while understanding the unique issues faced by younger clients.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or related field is mandatory.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California is required; applicants with an associate license cannot be accepted due to billing constraints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with online platforms and telehealth technologies are essential.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding in client interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working with geriatric populations is preferred but not required.
  • A background in school counseling or youth outreach programs is advantageous.
  • Experience in a high-volume counseling setting, managing multiple cases while effectively prioritizing needs.
