Full Time Maxient Jobs (NOW HIRING)

The University of Alaska Fairbanks is seeking a student-centered professional to provide leadership and oversight for student conduct, behavioral intervention, crisis response, and CARE initiatives. This position serves as a university conduct officer and is responsible for reviewing, investigating, adjudicating, and managing student conduct cases, including complex cases that may result in suspension or expulsion, while ensuring adherence to due process and university policy.
The position oversees conduct intake processes, case management operations, and Maxient administration, while collaborating closely with campus partners including Residence Life, University Police, Title IX, General Counsel, Academic Affairs, and Student Affairs. This role also serves as a member of the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT), assists with crisis response and case management, coordinates educational outreach and training, and contributes to compliance reporting and assessment efforts.
Knowledge of student conduct administration, behavioral intervention, higher education compliance requirements, and case management systems such as Maxient is highly valued.
To thrive in this role, applicants should demonstrate knowledge, skills, and experience in student conduct administration, training and workshop development, and serving as a resource on federal laws and regulations including the Drug Free Schools and Communities Act, Clery Act, FERPA, Student Right-to-Know Act, Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act, and Title IX. Experience with student conduct processes, conduct hearings, investigations, and student data or case management systems is highly valued.
Successful candidates should have experience conducting investigations and hearings within a college or university setting, knowledge of Title IX investigation practices, understanding of trauma-informed investigative approaches, and experience with crisis response and threat assessment. Familiarity with Maxient or equivalent student conduct/case management software is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with both five years progressively responsible relevant experience and two years management experience in advanced student services positions directing, leading, supervising or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in higher education, college administration, or a related field, along with experience using Maxient and Banner software.

This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule , Grade 80, based on education and experience.
