At The Math Learning Center (MLC), every shipment matters. As a nonprofit education organization, we create high-quality mathematics curriculum that help more than 80,000 elementary teachers inspire confidence and success in mathematics. Our materials reach classrooms across the country and our warehouse team plays a critical role in making that possible.

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Specialist to join our Salem, Oregon location. In this role, you'll help ensure our materials are assembled, packed, shipped, and received accurately so educators and students have what they need, when they need it.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Salem, Oregon, with a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule and an exceptional benefits package.

What You'll Do

You'll be an important part of a collaborative warehouse team by:

  • Assembling and kitting curriculum materials with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Picking, checking, packing, and shipping customer orders efficiently.
  • Reviewing outgoing shipments to ensure correct quantities, labeling, and quality.
  • Receiving inventory and customer returns, verifying counts and condition, and updating our ERP system.
  • Performing quality checks on incoming materials.
  • Operating shipping and logistics systems to coordinate domestic and international shipments.
  • Selecting appropriate shipping methods, including truckload, LTL, parcel, and international carriers.
  • Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and store inventory.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Collaborating with teammates to continuously improve efficiency and deliver outstanding service.
What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of warehouse experience.
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification within six months of hire.
  • Experience using computers and ERP or warehouse management systems.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
