Job description

Who We AreAt Zooby Neighborhood Superheroes, we rescue properties. We are a fast-growing, high-energy exterior remodeling company specializing in roofing, siding, gutters, and garage doors. Built on flawless craftsmanship and absolute integrity, we skip the corporate politics in favor of high-octane teamwork and relentless growth. We've partnered with Redgrasshopper to find an elite Roof Repair & Leak Technician to join our league. If you take pride in precision workmanship and love solving complex structural puzzles, we want you on our squad.Job OverviewWe aren't looking for a basic tear-off laborer to mindlessly nail down thousands of square feet of shingles. We need a Roof Repair Technician who acts like a detective. While general roofers focus on bulk installation, your entire mission will focus on precision diagnostics and targeted problem-solving. You will be the specialist we send to investigate complex leaks, fix critical failure points, and execute high-quality, targeted repairs without replacing the entire roof. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for master craftsmanship, this is your spot. What You'll Do (A Day in the Life)Leak Assessment & Diagnostics: Act as the investigator. Track down the exact entry point of water (knowing it's rarely directly beneath the water stain on the ceiling) and map out a precise repair plan.Flashing & Penetration Repairs: Rebuild and seal the vital weatherproofing components around chimneys, skylights, vents, and roof valleys where structural failures most commonly happen.Structural Material Replacement: Carefully swap out broken tiles, storm-damaged shingles, or rotted plywood decking underneath to restore structural integrity.Emergency Stabilization: Step up when disaster strikes, performing immediate emergency tarping and securing homes after severe weather or tree damage to prevent interior destruction.Customer Care: Clearly explain the technical "why" to homeowners, reassuring them that their property is safely protected. What We Are Looking ForThe "Detective" Mindset: 2+ years of dedicated roofing repair or leak diagnostic experience (residential or commercial). You know exactly how water behaves on a roof structure.Technical Precision: Mastery of working with flashings, sealants, shingle matching, and structural decking. Experience with tile, metal, or flat roofing is a massive plus.Safety & Independence: Comfortable working independently on pitched surfaces, setting up safety equipment, and operating power tools effectively.Logistics: Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the physical stamina required to climb ladders and navigate roofs daily in the Texas climate. Why Join the League?Stable, Steady Work: Steady, year-round full-time hours without the seasonal volatility of basic crew work.Premium Compensation: Competitive hourly pay reflecting your specialized skill set, plus performance bonuses for diagnostic accuracy and quality metrics.Growth Opportunities: Direct paths into project management, quality assurance tracking, or field leadership roles as we scale.Team Culture: High-stakes performance competitions, gear, company events, and an energetic workspace.Ready to Master Your Craft?Apply today to fast-track your interview.
