  • Collaborate with structural engineers to ensure alignment with codes, load requirements, and Wickโ€™s building systems.
  • Prepare permit-ready documents and coordinate with local jurisdictions as needed.
  • Support sales and project teams with design expertise, feasibility reviews, and customer-facing presentations.
  • Coordinating building envelope and energy code requirements with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing professionals.
  • Conduct site evaluations and provide design guidance during construction when questions arise.
  • Educate the architectural community on the advantages and process of postโ€‘frame buildings, helping expand awareness and adoption of Wickโ€™s building systems.
  • Contribute to design standards, material selections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Architectural license (RA)
  • 3+ years of architectural design experience, ideally with commercial, agricultural, industrial, or preโ€‘engineered building types.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D visualization tools.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, site planning, and construction methods and experience in Structural Engineering.
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate clearly with both technical and nonโ€‘technical audiences.
  • A practical, solutionsโ€‘oriented mindset with an eye for detail and design quality.
