Job Description
HII-Mission Technologies is looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Multi-Functional Manufacturing Engineer for their Syracuse, NY Manufacturing Operations. Under the direction and guidance of the Production Manager, they will help lead our efforts to identify and drive out losses through standards and system development. They will support the daily activities of the production line and/or processing areas, and help build long term capability within the Manufacturing Organization.
Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Analyzing and identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Ensuring compliance with customer and company proposed standards and requirements
  • Working with team members with the integration of new and existing processes for both assembly and test
  • Create and update work instructions and product travelers as required
  • Working with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes and risks
  • Prioritizing and executing projects for ongoing process improvements
  • Support Product Quality investigations and initiatives

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel.
  • Complies with security procedures in the performance of duties.
  • IPC610/J-STD-001/IPC620 experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of other process/quality frameworks: ISO 9001, Lean & Six Sigma
  • Basic understanding in process documentation, workflow definition, and analyzing gaps
  • Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal direction
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.
