Here's how an Internal Communications Manager for PCL Construction Enterprises, Inc. within US Head Office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities
  • Develop internal communication strategies and SMART objectives to drive employee behavior and ensure the right message is shared to enhance PCL’s culture and the employee experience.
  • Drive adoption of company intranet with online best practices and metrics to evaluate success.
  • Work closely with corporate departments, specifically Human Resources to communicate new business initiatives to employees with effective change management.
  • Work closely with executives to develop their communication strategies and messages.
  • Plan, create and distribute content through traditional and innovative methods including intranet articles, thought leadership pieces, talking points, memos and corporate department messages ensuring content is error-free, on-brand and in AP style.
  • Track and measure output and continually improve strategy to drive engagement across internal channels.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a corporate or agency setting with 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Expert in AP writing style and superb verbal, writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing a multi-faceted internal communication strategic plan with detailed programs and measurable results, specifically for non-wired employees.
  • Experience developing and implementing measurable communication plans (a measurable communication plan is required with application).
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Collaborative and team-focused with proven ability to manage others as well as develop and sustain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and manage major projects from idea conception through execution to deliver metric outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel and work with teams across the U.S. and Canada. Travel will account for approximately 10% of the position.
     

The estimated salary range for this role is $105,000-$125,000, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
