About this Position
The candidate will be assigned to the OSUCHS-Tulsa, OK campus. The Maintenance Technician for OSUCHS-Tulsa will be an independent position that will report to the Director of Operations for the CHS Campus as well as the Director of Facilities OSUCHS-Tulsa. This position will be addressing day to day operations of the OSUCHS-Tulsa campus. Duties will consist of the position requirements below but are not limited to the list of requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to Faculty and Staff Maintenance requests
  • Strong communication skills
  • Conduct property Inspections
  • Work Independently
  • Set up classrooms, break out rooms, meeting halls, and lobbies for special meetings and events
  • Work Collaboratively with OSUCHS Facilities and OSU-Tulsa Maintenance due to the nature of this position and campus.
  • Assemble Office Furniture and other standard office equipment assembly.
  • Hang large white boards, bulletin boards etc.
  • Power Tool experience
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Make and/or assists with general appliance repairs, carpet repairs and minor A/C and electrical repairs
  • Performs and/or assist with carpentry work, painting and plumbing duties
  • Move appliances, with assistance, using an appliance dolly
  • Assist lead maintenance in maintaining a clean and orderly shop.
  • Participates in an ongoing property improvement plan and preventative maintenance program.
  • Experience operating the computer system to maintain and track service tickets, inventory and maintenance reports.
  • Must be prompt, on time to work and have good, regular attendance
  • Adheres to and complies with company safety policies and rules. Adheres to OSHA safety standards that are applicable for safe job performance.
  • Maintains courteous and helpful demeanor providing excellent customer service
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
    • 6 months' maintenance experience
  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
    • Valid Driver's License
