MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - RESIDENTIAL

Olen is seeking a skilled and motivated, full-time Maintenance Technician for our multifamily apartment community in Las Vegas, NV: Willowbrook

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall satisfaction and well-being of our residents. Technical expertise and dedication to quality workmanship will contribute to creating a comfortable and enjoyable living environment for our residents.

This position is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks related to building and apartment maintenance, including unit turnovers, completing work orders, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs, and providing exceptional customer service.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Perform apartment maintenance tasks, including maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing or replacing items such as:
    • Plumbing
    • Electrical
    • Appliances
    • Air conditioning
  • Assist with the preparation of vacant apartments for occupancy and helping with apartment turnover in general.
  • Participate in community maintenance duties, including building maintenance, preventative maintenance, service request completion, groundskeeping, and other tasks as assigned.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one to two years of related maintenance experience and/or training.
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and in a positive manner with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
  • Capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, occasionally moving or maneuvering up to 100 pounds.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Must provide and use their own hand tools to perform duties required unless otherwise specified by the property.
  • Effective problem solving and time management skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Team player attitude
  • Able to respond to emergency calls after scheduled work hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.
