LOCATION: American Games (504 34th Avenue Council Bluffs, IA)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

This position is a full-time permanent position in a manufacturing environment which produces charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets (break-open tickets), bingo paper and pull-tab vending machines.

This role is responsible for selling and supporting a portfolio of gaming products, including pull-tab tickets (break-open tickets), bingo paper and related charitable gaming products, while also assisting with customer service, reporting, proposal development and sales support activities.

This position reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager and plays an important role in ensuring a smooth, accurate, and responsive sales process for American Games and International Gamco customers. The individual in this role will work closely with customers, internal sales partners and cross-functional teams to support day-to-day account activity, generate leads, identify business opportunities and help position products effectively within the charitable and lottery gaming market.

The ideal candidate will understand how to communicate product value in a competitive market where game performance, product quality, regulatory requirements, customer service and speed to market are all critical. Successful individuals in this role will be comfortable balancing direct sales activity with administrative and departmental support responsibilities. They will also have strong Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to develop professional PowerPoint presentations, proposals and customer-facing sales materials.

This role is especially well-suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced business environment, has strong attention to detail and can confidently support customers in a market driven by sales strategy, product mix, player appeal, compliance considerations and long-term customer relationships.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Sell charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets, break-open tickets, bingo paper and related products, while providing a high level of customer service and support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Process customer orders and support the full order-to-shipment process, including order entry, shipment tracking, returns, credit processing, follow-up communication and day-of-shipment lottery notifications.
  • Support lottery account management by maintaining and tracking contracts, including start and end dates, renewal and extension timelines, pricing terms, CPI or allowable price increases, shipping terms and overrun/underrun allowances.
  • Develop and maintain account tracking tools, spreadsheets and contract summary "cheat sheets" for each lottery to monitor key terms, monthly sales, game sales and other account-specific details.
  • Update monthly sell sheets and assist with recurring monthly projects for assigned lottery accounts, including Arizona, Iowa and Michigan.
  • Provide general lottery customer service support by communicating with lottery contacts regarding updates, changes, project needs and ongoing account requirements.
  • Initiate game trademarks and enter DIFs into 4D accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Take a lead role in coordinating and compiling RFP responses, proposals, presentations, bid support materials and other customer-facing sales documents.
  • Conduct research to identify leads, support prospective efforts and help develop growth opportunities through phone, email, webinars and other communication channels.
  • Build strong product and market knowledge within the charitable and lottery gaming industry and identify opportunities to present additional products, new game options and value-added solutions to current and prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, management, Lottery Sales Representatives and Key Account Representatives to support strategic sales efforts, customer needs, scheduling, project coordination and account growth.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, sales tools and internal documentation while prioritizing assignments and completing work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain professionalism, flexibility and a customer-focused approach when working with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales and/or customer service experience required, preferably in a manufacturing, print, regulated product, gaming or similar business-to-business environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
  • Experience preparing professional presentations, proposals or customer-facing sales materials, preferred.
  • Experience supporting inside sales, account management, proposals or customer service in a manufacturing or product-based environment is beneficial.
  • Experience in charitable gaming, lottery, printing, promotional products, consumer packaged products or other regulated or high-volume product markets is a plus.
  • Familiarity with markets where customer decisions are influenced by product performance, consumer appeal, inventory timing and regulatory requirements is beneficial.
  • Ability to identify and understand customer buying patterns, business trends and sales opportunities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated sales and marketing acumen, including the ability to explain product features, benefits and value propositions to existing and prospective customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Self-motivated, dependable and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism and work ethic.

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Additional or irregular hours may occasionally be required based on operational needs. This position is classified as overtime ineligible.
