Emergency Medicine PhysicianSky Lakes Medical Center | Klamath Falls, Oregon

Join a stable, high-functioning team of 12 EM physicians and 3 APPs at Sky Lakes Medical Center, a Level III Trauma facility. Handling 35,000 annual visits, our ED is the primary critical care hub for a massive 10,000-square-mile region. We pride ourselves on a culture where collaboration is the standard and physician longevity is prioritized through flexible, sustainable scheduling.

The Practice: Designed for Longevity
  • The "8-Hour" Advantage: Enjoy a highly desirable schedule of 15 eight-hour shifts per month.
  • Shift Times: 06:00–14:00 | 09:00–17:00 | 14:00–22:00 | 17:00–01:00 | 22:00–06:00.
  • Pacing: Average 1.5 to 2.0 patients per hour.
  • No "Admin" Call: Your time off is strictly protected; there are no call responsibilities outside your scheduled shifts.
  • APP Support: APPs are on-site daily from 11:00 to 23:00 to assist with patient flow.
  • Specialist Access: A 10-bed ICU is supported by dedicated Hospitalists, Intensivists, and Pulm/CC specialists.
Tiered Compensation & Incentives

Emergency Department Differentials/Bonuses

Base Starting Rate

$240.00 per hour worked

Night Shift Differential
2200-0600

$50.00 per hour worked

Providing same-day coverage of a full shift - Bonus

$750.00 bonus per shift

Shifts beyond 15 full-time shifts in a calendar month - Differential

$120.00 per hour worked
