Job description

Registered Nurse - Skilled Nursing

Three Links Health Services, Northfield MN

Evening Shifts (2pm - 10pm) - Full Time - Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

Hiring Wage Range: $37.50 - $45.90 depending on experience

Shift Differentials:

Evening Shift (2p - 10p) $1.00 / hour

Requirement: This position requires a graduate of an approved school of nursing and must be currently licensed as an RN in the state of Minnesota. Must maintain current unencumbered license with the Board of Nursing.

RN Responsibilities:

  • This position is accountable for coordinating resident care and required documentation according to established policies, procedures, and standard of practice.
  • May assume some responsibility in directing personnel.
  • Must foster teamwork and contribute to the facility goals and mission.
  • The RN will also ensure that services follow current regulations and standards.
  • Must be able to relate professionally with clients, staff and family members, display a positive work attitude and be able to work as a team with other staff members.
  • Willingness to perform direct care activities is necessary.
  • Patience, tact, respect, courtesy, and kindness are required when dealing with residents, visitors, and other staff, as well as the ability to treat patients’ information confidentially.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to use computers and electronic records.
  • The ability to deal tactfully and use good communication and customer service skills with clients and their families.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment and observation skills.
