We are looking to recruit observant Lifeguards to ensure the safety of visitors to our Indoor & Outdoor Aquatic Facilities. The Lifeguard will explain safety rules to patrons, warn them about unsafe situations, and enforce policies established by Mt. Olympus Resorts & Parks. You will play an instrumental role in maintaining orderliness by inspecting swimming pool areas, locker rooms and restrooms. You will maintain pool equipment, and monitor our guests Safety.

To ensure success you need to assess situations swiftly, and make judicious decisions regarding the safety of swimmers. Top candidates are excellent communicators, swift, and safety-minded. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing family-owned company.
Effective 9/8/2026, the starting pay rate for Lifeguards will be $16.00/hr


Lifeguard Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing activities at aquatic facilities.
  • Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations and policies to ensure safety of patrons.
  • Monitoring designated areas to recognize signs of danger, responding to emergencies and rescuing swimmers in danger of drowning. 
  • Warning swimmers regarding unsafe situations.
  • Maintaining order in swimming areas.
  • Performing first aid procedures, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or using an automated defibrillator (AED) in an emergency and, if trained, administering oxygen when needed.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of all areas.
  • Maintaining records and reports. 

Lifeguard Requirements:

  • 15 years of age or older.
  • First Aid and CPR certification will be provided.
  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in interacting with people of various ages from diverse backgrounds.
  • Available to work all shifts, Weekends, Holidays.
