Accelecom is currently seeking a full-time exempt Account Director responsible for selling into the Georgia State Gov't & Education (SLED) Vertical. We are looking for people who share our passion for success through a consultative selling approach, a focus on superior customer service and helping the Georgia State Gov't & Education Vertical solve business problems. As a Sales Professional, this position will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing new business with Prospects / New Logos while also managing / cross-selling / upselling existing accounts across Georgia. The successful candidate will be expected to deeply understand our customers' business, be able to craft unique solutions, and secure orders.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing & executing sales strategies across local Municipalities, Universities/Technical Colleges, Primary/Secondary Educational Systems, and Libraries.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Planning Experience:
• Formulation & execution of robust Vertical GTM & Account Plans
• Development & execution of Customer Contact Plans
• Identification & execution of upsell & cross-sell strategies
Product Knowledge & Experience:
• Transport solutions (Dark Fiber, Wavelengths & Ethernet)
• IP solutions (IP Transit, DIA & DDoS)
• Managed Services Solutions (Mng Firewall/Router/WiFi & SD-WAN)
• Voice Solutions (UCaaS & CCaaS)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• A Hunter mindset, skilled at creating and closing new opportunities in untapped markets.
• Sales experience: Minimum of 5-years
• Strong analytical & technical skills

• Prior experience w/ Salesforce & the Microsoft Suite
• Have used Sales Force and Zoom Info.
Work Environment:
• Remote work environment must be Georgia based.
• Occasional office visits for training and team meetings.
