Join the Raymond Team as a Machinist - 3rd shift!
The Role:
We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Machinist who brings enthusiasm and expertise to the table. In this role, you'll be operating a variety of machines, including but not limited to, laser cutters, saws, brake presses, CNC machines, etc. If you enjoy tackling challenges with positivity and an upbeat mindset, you'll feel right at home here.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Receiving processed parts and reading blueprints/sketches to fabricate a variety of complex, mid-low volume parts. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve problems associated with job set up.
  • Adhering to proper feeds, speeds, and settings to maximize production levels and machine/tool life.
  • Inspecting your own work prior to next operation. Serving as precision and operational inspector for Production Operators' work. Adjust and send work back as necessary.
  • Stacking and/or moving completed work by following material handling procedures.
  • Supporting the Company's 5S program to maintain work area, equipment and supplies in a neat, organized manner.
  • Making recommendations to change outdated or ineffective procedures through the kaizen process.

What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum of three years production experience is required, with one or more years in a production operator/machinist role.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Where and When You'll Work:
  • This is an in-person role located at our Muscatine, IA facility-ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
  • Core working hours are 10:00pm - 6:30am. Overtime may be required, but it not guaranteed.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
Wage - $23.50 per hour with a $1.50 per hour shift premium.
