The Position

Job Summary
BULK LOADING ASSISTANT
The Bulk Loading Assistant reports directly to the Plant 2 Loading Foreman.
Level of Responsibility: The Bulk Loading Assistant is responsible for cleaning of rail cars. For proper
loading of all kiln run and operation of barmac crusher. Responsible for assisting in maintenance of
mobile, screening and crushing equipment in the crushing circuit. Unloading of coal cars and inbound
shipments as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Minimal Requirements:
∞ Must have work experience in bulk loading and understand how the system functions.
∞ Must have a high school diploma or GED.
∞ Must be able to walk up and down stairs.
∞ Must be able to climb up and down ladders.
∞ Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
∞ Must be able to lift 100 lbs. with assistance.
∞ Must have good written and oral communication skills.
∞ Must wear all required safety equipment.
Functions: To inspect and properly wash railroad hoppers, to assist in the movement of railroad
hoppers. To inspect all mobile equipment and crushing equipment for efficient operation. To load all
kiln run railcars and bulk trucks according to set procedures. To assist in maintenance work on all
screening and crushing equipment in the crushing circuit. To perform any other task assigned by the
Bulk Loading Foreman.
