Job description

As a Senior COTS Integrator, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise monitoring solutions that provide visibility into system, application, network, and endpoint performance. You will leverage automation tools, Elastic Stack, Jenkins, and cloud technologies to collect, analyze, and visualize performance metrics while supporting secure enterprise environments.

Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite

Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise performance monitoring solutions.
  • Build automated performance testing and monitoring capabilities using Jenkins.
  • Develop software that leverages REST APIs to automate the collection and analysis of performance metrics.
  • Configure, administer, and maintain Elastic Stack environments including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Elastic APM.
  • Create and maintain Logstash pipelines and Kibana dashboards for enterprise monitoring and reporting.
  • Instrument systems using Elastic Agent and Elastic APM Agent to collect performance data.
  • Integrate open-source and commercial monitoring technologies within secure enterprise environments.
  • Support environments utilizing PKI authentication, authorization services, SSL/TLS communications, and enterprise firewalls.
  • Analyze application, operating system, network, and endpoint performance to identify issues and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve monitoring capabilities, automation, and system reliability.
  • Develop documentation, technical procedures, and monitoring best practices.
  • Support enterprise monitoring initiatives across on-premises and cloud environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline and at least 12 years of software development or engineering experience. Four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Experience administering and maintaining Elastic Stack including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Elastic Application Performance Monitoring (APM).
  • Experience installing, configuring, updating, and supporting multiple Elastic Stack environments.
  • Experience creating Logstash pipelines and Kibana visualizations.
  • Experience implementing Elastic Agent and Elastic APM Agent.
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry (OTEL) and OpenTelemetry Protocol (OTLP).
  • Strong understanding of network, operating system, application, and endpoint performance monitoring.
  • Experience developing software using REST APIs.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a fast-paced engineering environment.
