Designer / Architectural Drafter

General Role:
As a Designer, your role is to aid in producing presentation and construction documents and help maintain client relationships. You’d work amongst our architecture and design teams on assigned projects. Having an ability to collaborate, take initiative and maintain a positive attitude is a must.

Radical Renovations is a leading General Contractor in the Main Line area with a team of Architects and Designers to support our clients.  Main Line Design is the interior design arm of the company.  Our main objective is to provide a cohesive design-build package for our clients. Our mission is to blend the minds of Architects, Designers and Contractors from the get-go to ensure a seamless transition from concept to completion. We are looking to grow a passionate team with a client-first mentality. Work-place culture is very important to us. Qualifications:
  • Entry level, 2 - 4 years experience in the architecture design industry, residential experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of construction methods and materials.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple projects at on time.
  • Must have at least 4 year bachelor degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to learn new systems, technical programs and skills.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently on a task.
  • Demonstrated computer and social media skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs. (i.e Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Proficient in Chief Architect or Revit.
  • Experience in 3D modeling preferred.
  • Must be a resident of Pennsylvania or be able to commute to location daily.
  • Reliable means of transportation.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Survey job sites to produce as-bult plans.
  • Drafting proposed plans based on scope.
  • Product and materials sourcing.
  • Production of design presentations.
  • Construction documents.
  • 3D models.
  • Installation plans.
  • Attend site visits and or client meetings.
  • Update and maintain social media platforms on a daily or weekly basis.
  • Must be local to the area and able to be in house every day.
