The Early Childhood School at the SJCC is a school of excellence where children feel secure and confident, and are nurtured to become deep and creative thinkers. We are inspired by the schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy as well as by a social constructivist perspective.
The Early Childhood School at the SJCC on Mercer Island is looking for fun, joyful, energetic, passionate, creative, curious educators with experience working with young children to join our early childhood educational team. We are an amazing community of educators who come together in the best interest of children. The Early Childhood School provides exceptional support to our educators through an amazing community, mentorship program, weekly planning time, monthly reflective supervision with their supervisor, new hire orientation, professional development opportunities, an abundance of beautiful materials, and more.
