Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting the Sr Global Supply Managers (GSM's) in the end-to-end supply chain management for products to achieve the desired customer service levels. The supporting work will include data analysis, project management, and providing recommendations that support efficient processes and customer service level.
Responsibilities
1. Owner of small product portfolio through the value stream.
2. Managing new product introductions (NPI) and discontinuations, and source of supply chain changes.
3. Demand Management/Forecast Analysis-Supports the direction of the Sr Global Supply Manager in ensuring the planning system configuration is in line with the strategy defined for managing the products through the supply chain.
4. Manages forecast differences, planning factors, and deep dive analysis.
5. Provides project management support to the Sr Global Supply Manager's for Life Cycle Management (LCM) programs.
a. LCM Team involvement-key participation during each gate making sure NPI on time launch is executed.
b. Product rationalization-Operations point of contact for the Life Cycle Management (LCM) group. Help develop write off strategy and write off estimates for finance.
c. New product launch review and approval (NPLCO)
6. Independently leads cross-functional projects in support of improvement initiatives in supply chain.
7. Data Analysis-Supports the data analysis of forecasts, backorders, inventory settings, Service Levels project related needs and provides recommended actions including root cause analysis and value stream mapping.
8. Assists with the planning and coordination of production activities between the packaging and manufacturing plans. This would include source of supply changes and product configuration changes (new items, branding/private label changes, package changes, etc.
9. Works with all operations relative to the management of their products.
a. Assists, mentors and supports regional planning teams to grow their capabilities and skills with constraint planning, inventory rebalancing, SKU mix and source of supply management.
b. Influences or assists operations toward improvement.
c. Shares experience and knowledge to drive collective Global Supply Chain capability.
10. Adheres to corporate procedures, policies, documentation requirements and recommends/develops continuous improvement initiatives.
11. Performs responsibilities as required by the Quality System and other duties as assigned or requested.
12. Under direction of the Sr Global Supply Manager, creates and reviews opportunities to standardize, develop and mature key supply chain planning processes

Work Environment:

โ€ข Ability to perform light to medium physical work and standing for long periods of time, if required depending on the task.
โ€ข Most of the work will take place within an office environment.

Experience:
โ€ข Minimum 5 years of experience within supply chain environment
โ€ข Minimum 3 years of experience in item level planning roles like Supply Chain Planners, Senior Planners, Planning Analysts
โ€ข Experience in a regulated industry (medical device or other) preferable
โ€ข Experience working in a global organization Experience within supply chain environment, preferably in a team lead role. Working knowledge of supply chain planning parameters.
โ€ข Experience in collaborating with key stakeholders E.G. supply chain, manufacturing, operations and commercial functions.
โ€ข Professional certification in APICS/ASCM, CIPS, Project Management preferred.
Education:
โ€ข Professional qualification/certification or Bachelors' degree in Supply Chain, Business or equivalent required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
